Cash Saving Tips

Branching out

 tree

The price of Christmas trees is set to soar this year because of a slump in the number of imports and the weak pound.
A six foot Nordman fir, the most popular because it doesn’t shed its needles, will cost around £50 when it’s usually around £30.
If that’s too much for you, why not plump for an artificial tree that will cost you about the same but last for years?
There are many bargains and a wide selection on eBay at the moment with something for everyone’s tastes. Traditionalists will love this six foot tall, realistic looking tree for £59.99 whereas those who prefer a bit of sparkle might prefer this smaller one which comes complete with fibre optic lights (£24.99). If you really want to be different though, a black tree really makes a statement.
But be quick – you’ve got to get it delivered and up by December 12 for luck!
